The M860A from Bridgestone Tire is a radial tire for commercial trucks used for high scrub, short haul applications such as urban waste collection. The M870 has a heavy duty load capacity and can carry 10,000 lbs on a single tire for heavy steer and other high scrub applications. The M870 was specially designed for refuse handling and features a special rubber compound. M870 tires are designed for improved wear, which leads to longer tire life. Cooling fins on the sidewall of the M870's casing protect the bead area from heat buildup. Puncture resistance is increased in the Bridgestone M870 thanks to a new, wide fourth belt that also extends the life of the casing.
